JAMMU: The government has extended winter vacation in snow bound areas of the Kashmir valley up to March 12.
According to government order issued here today, the schools located in snowbound areas of Machil, Jamgund, Keran, Gurez, Karnah, Kodara, and Hajibal Gogaldara of Kashmir Division shall observe extended winter vacation upto March 12, 2017.
The vacation has been extended in view of the apprehensions of avalanche and road connectivity issues in these areas. The schools shall reopen on March 13. 2017. ‘Detention of minors only in consultation with Child Committees’
