The District Level screening-cum-consultative committee meeting held under the chairmanship of District Magistrate, Baramulla sanctioned Rs.44 lakh in favour of 11 militancy related victims as cash compensation, Rs.16 lakh to next of kin of the deceased persons and Rs. 20 lakh 50 Thousand in favour of 4 property damaged cases, besides Rs.75000 in favour of injured persons, an official statement said on Wednesday.
“The committee took up several cases, among which 32 cases were settled on the spot while as other cases were referred to concerned agencies for re-verification,” it said.
Besides Additional Deputy Commissioner, Assistant Commissioner, Revenue Officers, Officers of various Security Agencies also attended the meeting.
