Srinagar: Srinagar police have traced a kidnapped girl and nabbed the kidnapper from Budgam, a police spokesman said in Srinagar.
Police station Harwan was informed that a 21 years old girl (name withheld) was kidnapped by Gulzar Ahmad Malik on February 20, from Shalimar Bazar, the spokesman said. Following this information FIR 04/17 under section 366 RPC was registered in police station Harwan and a manhunt was launched to trace out the girl.
The investigation team after receiving the inputs recovered the kidnapped girl at Aatina, Beerwah from Budgam and arrested the accused.
The spokesman said that a boy is reportedly missing from Nowlari in Baramulla.
Police post Kongamdar, according to spokesman, was informed that a boy identified as Syed Javed Razvi son of Syed Mohammad (see photograph) a resident of Nowlari, Baramulla is missing since February 16. Following this information a missing report was lodged and manhunt has been launched to trace out the missing boy.
