Pulwama police arrested a biker who fled away from a petrol pump brandishing a knife to the salesman after refueling his motorcycle, at Parigam.
A petrol pump owner reported to Pulwama police that during the intervening night of August 28/29, an unknown person came on motorcycle (JK01H/6505). After refueling the bike with petrol for Rs 1000 the motorcyclist brandished a knife to the salesman and fled away from the spot without payment.
Police registered a case in this regard and launched a search for the motorcyclist. Yesterday police struck a clue and arrested the motorcyclist Tariq Ahmad Dar son of Mushtaq Ahmad resident of Gundbagh Kakapora at Gurwan, Kakapora and seized the motorcycle. They recovered two knives and 03 cell phones from him.
