The chairman Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front Mohammad Yasin Malik who was under detention since elections was allegedly thrown out on Maisuma road last night triggering shutdown in Maisuma Wednesday.
A family source told Kashmir Life, “Malik sahab was taken from SKIMS, Soura on Monday night where he was undergoing treatment to unknown place but on Tuesday night at 10pm, he was thrown out on road by police. He was not in a condition to move as Malik sahab was on hunger strike.”
Pertinently Malik is on hunger strike against the police arrests in his area.
An eyewitness said, “I don’t know the condition of Malik sahab but he is seriously in need of medical treatment. How could state be so ruthless by throwing him on road in a serious condition?”
Meanwhile, Maisuma observed shutdown against police ‘highhandedness’.
