Srinagar: The Parliamentary Committee on External Affairs visited Leh as part of their study tour, states PRO (Def) Srinagar.
According to statement, the delegation comprising of five Members of Parliament was led by Member of Parliament, Dr. Shashi Tharoor. They visited Fire and Fury Corps.
The spokesman said the Parliamentary Committee were welcomed by Major General AS Chowdhry and Senior Officers of the Fire & Fury Corps.
The Parliamentary Committee was briefed about the security situation and dynamics in the region.
