Mehbooba Mufti was re-elected President of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Saturday.
It is for the fifth consecutive time 52 years old Mehbooba has been elected to head the party formed in 1999, sources said.
The election to this effect was conducted at Jammu today.
They said the party had called all the electors to Jammu many days earlier to participate in the party election.
A law graduate, Mehbooba joined politics in 1996.
