Unknown gunmen Friday night barged into the house of a female SPO working in Jammu and Kashmir police department and fired upon her indiscriminately in Nowpora Arwani area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
Police sources told CNS that two unidentified gunmen entered into the house of female SPO (name withheld) presently working in Awantipora police lines and fired upon her with AK-47 rifles. Sources added that the SPO received two bullets, one at her shoulder and another at her arm.
Confirming the incident, Dy SP Headquarter Kulgam Irshad Ahmed Rather said that victim is stable and is being treated in one of the hospitals in Srinagar.
