In a major embarrassment to incumbent chief minister Omar Abdullah, according to sources quoted by Delhi based news channel, senior party leaders are lobbying against Omar Abdullah.
Quoting sources, the channel reports that faction of senior leaders want Omar Abdullah to step down as NC’s working president. This is believed to be due to widely speculated results of the assembly elections. However according to sources, Dr Farooq Abdullah is adamant to see Omar running the party affairs
