On Saturday morning, a pellet hit injured youth was rushed to SKIMS Soura from SKIMS JVC when his condition deteriorated.

Sources identified the deceased as Muzaffar Ahmad Pandit, a resident of Chek-e-Kawoosa in central Kashmir’s Budgam district.

The civilian death toll has shot up to ninety three in last 85 days when the anti-India uprising was triggered by the death of rebel commander Burhan Wani on July 08, 2016.

Muzaffar was shot by pellets and doctors operated his left eye several times. “He was suffering from Sepsis,” sources in SKIMS hospital said. “Doctors put him on ventilator but he lost battle of his life.”

Muzaffar Ahmad Pandit was hit by pellets on September 14.

Pandit developed some complications last night and was rushed to SDH Magam where from he was referred to Srinagar.
