Facebook has reportedly removed Jama’at-e-Islami Pakistan’s official page for covering and highlighting “atrocities in Kashmir”, reports quoting a Jama’at statement issued on Wednesday evening.

“That page was at second number with respect to likes (3M+) and on first regarding overall page reach of any political party,” reports said.

A Jama’at official told The Nation that two other pages operated by the party have been removed from the social media website in the past two days.

Notably, Facebook removed many pages and personal accounts which uploaded images from Kashmir since July 09, 2016.
