The district administration in Chenab Valley’s Kishtwar district announced a four-hour relaxation in curfew on Tuesday.
However, Imam Jamia Masjid Kishtwar, Maulana Farooq Ahmad Kichloo, has called for complete shutdown in the district today.
The administration announced the relaxation period from 12 O’ Clock which is expected to continue for four hours.
The government imposed curfew in the sensitive district following protests and clashes against arrests.
At least four persons have been arrested by police. They have been charged for sedition and two of them have been booked under draconian Public Safety Act.
