A delegation of heads of Dargahs led by the chief of Ajmer Sharif on Monday appealed to the people in Jammu and Kashmir to remain calm, observe peace and help the government in bringing normalcy.

The delegation, met Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh in New Delhi on Monday and said they would go to J&K to request their brothers and sisters to “contribute in creating peace”.

The delegation shared their concern on the situation in the state and expressed confidence that the Union Home Minister would do everything possible to bring normalcy in Kashmir “in order to remove pain and miseries of the people”.
