Intense clashes erupted in Tahab area of Pulwama district in South of Kashmir on Wednesday morning when some police vehicles came under stone pelting attack in the area while they were on way to SOG camp at Litter.
Local residents told Kashmir Life that tension gripped the area following the attack on the vehicles carrying cops.
Following the attack, residents alleged that forces resorted to indiscriminate teargas shelling. “People are fleeing from the area to safer places as we fear that forces will now resort to ransacking,” a local said.
Kashmir Life could not confirm any injury in the clashes.
