SRINAGAR
In view of the Muharram procession scheduled to be taken out on 27th of October 2016 (25th of Muharram), police said on Wednesday, the traffic diversion from Srinagar to Baramulla and Baramulla to Srinagar is planned as:
Srinagar bound vehicles from North Kashmir viz Kupwara, Handwara and Sopore will move via Hygam – Sumbal – HMT.
Vehicles from Baramulla Uri will move from Hamrey Gate – Pattan – Sumbal – HMT.
Vehicles from Pattan will move to Srinagar via Hartrath Bridge – Khanpath – Shadipora – HMT.
Heavy motor vehicles moving towards North Kashmir from Srinagar will move via Narbal – Magam, turn right near SDPO Office Magam – Kungumdara – Khore – Hanjiwara – Pattan.
Light vehicles moving towards North Kashmir from Srinagar will move to Baramulla via Narbal – Kanihama – Nooripora – Archanderhama – Gund Khoja Qasim – Singpora Pattan.
