The chairperson of United Jihad Council (UJC) and the supreme commander of Hizbul-Mujahideen Syed Salahuddin has asked the people of Jammu and Kashmir to observe October 27 as “Black” Day.

Salahuddin while addressing a meeting of the United Jihad Council said, “India has violated all rights of the people of and the People of Kashmir has never accepted the illegal occupation of India.”

Salahuddin said, “on October 27, 1947 Indian troops entered Kashmir and it was blackest day in the history of Kashmir. Kashmiris didn’t accept subjugation and were continuing to raise their voice against it. Since then 5 lakh Kashmiris have sacrificed their lives for liberation of their homeland.”

He said the “use of force has not succeeded to subdue” Kashmiris.

He said on October 27, people should “protest and should carry black flags” to convey it to the international community that people of Kashmir never accept the suzerainty of India.

“After the martyrdom of Burhan Wani, India left no stone un-turned to quell the protests across Kashmir. It maimed, killed and blinded the people of Kashmir. It destroyed the properties and crops to break the resolve of the people. Even Mussolini, Hitler and Changeiz would tremble watching the Indian brutality in Kashmir,” he said.

Syed Salahuddin while lauding the role of people of Kashmir said, “they will God-willingly soon see the dawn of freedom.”

He added that Kashmir is a spark and if this spark gets neglected now, it will prove lethal and dangerous for the whole of sub-continent.

“India is dumbfounded seeing the unity and conviction of people of Jammu and Kashmir and now its agents are active to sabotage the on-going movement. There is need to expose and shame these agents,” he said.

“Besides supporting politically, diplomatically and morally, Pakistan should extend military support to Kashmiri people as well because India doesn’t understand the language of dialogue,” Salahuddin said.
