The summer session of Legislative Assembly is likely to be held from September 29 here, sources said.

In this regard, sources said, the Law and Parliamentary Affairs Ministry has prepared a cabinet note which will be placed before the cabinet for the final decision. This will be a short session of only 10 days.

Important issues like rehabilitation package for flood hit Kashmir, issues of employees, increase in violence and purported radicalization of youth will be the main issues that are likely to come up for discussion during the assembly session.

Meanwhile, sources said that the government is worried about the session of Legislative Council as the LC complex was severely damaged during last year’s floods
