The Administrative Secretary to the Government, Technical Education/YSS/IT department, Hilal Ahmad Parray accompanied by the Director, Technical Education, Shabnam Shah Kamli Tuesday visited Kashmir Government Polytechnic (KGP) College, Srinagar to take stock of the class work/labs and interacted with the students and the faculty of the institution.
The Principal of the institution projected the achievements with reference to the placements of the students and other activities of the institution.
She also appraised the Secretary about the damages caused by the devastating floods to the institutional infrastructure in terms of Machinery/equipment, building and library, an official spokesperson said early this evening.
The Administrative Secretary assured full support for restoration of the damages caused. He directed the Principal to submit the detailed proposal for the replacement/requirement of the machinery/equipment to fortify the various departments of the institution and make the labs fully functional.
