The state government is yet to fill 11427 posts advertised during the last six years with the government claiming 6347 posts filled by PSC and 31804 by Service Selection Board (SSB).

According to a local news agency, KNS, while replying to the query of Ashok Khajuria over the number of vacancies filled by SSB and PSC during the last five years, the state government has revealed that out of 45,305 posts refereed during the last six years, 33,878 posts have been filled up till date. It maintained that the process for the filing up of the posts is in progress with some selections finalized but not issued due to court cases.

The details informed that 2648 tests so far have been conducted for the filing up of the posts and 5,505 numbers of schedules have been notified for the conduct of examination.

The details provided by the government also informed that there are around 22,894 posts vacant in the school education department while as 9067 posts are so far vacant in the department of home. Also in higher education department, the vacant posts are 3282 in number.

There are 7019 posts yet to be filled up in Medical and Health education department. In rural development department there are 2584 posts vacant while as in PHE and I&FC there are 2695 posts vacant. In CAPD, there are 1803 posts yet to be filed. The state government has admitted that so far there are 77,970 posts vacant.
