SRINAGAR
The weather department Tuesday predicted moderate to heavy rain and thunder showers in Jammu and Kashmir during the next 24 hours.
According to KNS correspondent, India Meteorological Department (IMD) has declared that in Srinagar on April 1, rain and thundershowers would occur while as the maximum and minimum temperatures would be around 09°C and 06°C respectively.
The weather department in its prediction has said no large change in weather during the next 24 hours while maintaining that rains would occur on April 1 and April 3 and thereafter, the weather conditions would improve.
The heavy rain forced hundreds to evacuate Srinagar, and the National Disaster Response Force was sent to the region to help with the serious situation.
