Unknown gunmen opened fire at a police team in Bandipora district Wednesday, leaving two cops injured in the attack.
One among the injured is a sub-inspector, Altaf Ahmad, who was shifted to a hospital in a critical condition.
Police said the incident happened at Dachin village of Bandipora around 1pm.
Meanwhile, police have taken up investigation and started manhunt.
