One person died while another was injured after they received electric shock in Nowgam area last evening, police said Thursday.
Two persons identified as Ghulam Hassan Mir (lineman) son of Ali Mohammad Mir of Khunda and Irfan Ahmad Shiekh son of Mohammad Amin resident of Sheikh Mohalla Tengan received electric shock when they were repairing power supply cable at Rakhi Shalina Tengan Nowgam, police said.
Both the injured were shifted to the Pampore hospital where Ghulam Hassan Mir succumbed to his injuries.
