The encounter between militants and forces at Malwari in Newa area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district that broke out on Thursday morning has claimed the lives of two militants.
Two policemen have received injuries in the gun battle.
Police claim to have recovered bodies of both the slain militants.
In the meanwhile youth of Newa and adjacent villages took to streets and pelted the stones on forces involved in operation.
