Two persons died in two different incidents in Jammu division on Monday.

Reports reaching here said that a Border Security Force (BSF) personnel and a civilian driver died in a road accident on Srinagar-Jammu highway. Three other persons were injured.

A Tavera (JK 05 C 6852) which was on its way to Jammu plunged into a deep gorge near Kuthtal Tethar early this morning. It resulted into the death of two persons and injuries to three others.

The deceased have been identified as Ghulam Nabi (driver), son of Abdul Khaliq Malyar of Watergam area of Baramulla district in north Kashmir and Ct Babi Rai no 130850667 of 11 Bn BSF from Kolkata in West Bengal.

Report said that three three forces personnel were identified as HC Samar kumar 93007803 son of  Malan kumar R\O P O Vishrampur, House No 51 part colony kunda in Chattisgarh; CT Lal Babu kumar son of  Shiv Shanker Yadav of Patna in Bihar; and Ct Dev Raj vishwas son of  Parbat vishwas of Kolkata – all  from BSF 11 BN.

Meanwhile, a teenager boy and a girl drowned in a river in Budnar area of Mahore in Reasi.

Naseer Ahmed (17), son of Abdul Rashid, resident of Bela Sarh and Ruksana Kouser (15), daughter of Mushtaq Ahmed, resident of Musra Sarh, were on way home from a marriage ceremony when the accident happened.

The girl has been recovered and rushed to SDH Mahore but here “condition is critical”, reports said.
