Police Friday said that three militants were killed in North Kashmir’s Uri in Baramulla district.
According to SHO Boniyar, Tariq Ahmad Shah, “three militants were killed near Noori Post which falls in Boniyar area.”
He added that the firing started last midnight around 12am.
In the gunfight, two army men were also reportedly injured.
“Noori post lies at Zero line, far away from Boniyar,” the SHO said. “A police team from BOP Chuatuali post has been sent to retreive the bodies of the deceased militnats.”
