Hours after fidayeen barged into the army camp in Tanghdar area, army claimed to have killed three militants in the ongoing gunfight between army and militants in this frontier district.
The fidayeen attacked the camp early Wednesday morning when they attacked an army base near LoC in Tangdhar, leaving a JCO dead and injuring a Colonel.
“We have retrieved three bodies and recovered three AK 47 rifles from their possession,” top-ranked army official said.
Jaish-e-Muhammad militant outfit has claimed the responsibility of the attack. However, the army is yet to reveal the identity of the deceased militants.
