Two days after a special police officer (SPO) fled with his colleague’s AK-47 from Old City’s Rainawari Police Station, police Monday said the runaway cop was arrested and that the weapon has been recovered.
Reyaz Ahmad (belt No 175F) from Budgam’s Khansahab, police said, was arrested late Sunday evening.
On Saturday, the SPO decamped with service rifle of a constable from Rainawari police stationand since then he was on the run.
