The students of SKUAST-K Friday morning held protests at its Shuhama (Alasteng) campus demanding removal of Dean.

Students from FVSC department, who spoke to Kashmir life said that a student was critically injured Thursday evening. “There was no ambulance available in the campus,” a student said adding, “doctors were aghast for delay in hospitalising him as he had severe ailments.”

The student said that it was because of the inefficient facilities at the campus. “The injured student could have lost his life if we didn’t act on time and manage to hospitalize him on time,” the students said.

Chanting “we want justice” slogans, the students demanded education minister to intervene and look in to the matter.
