Authorities on Wednesday suspended three policemen including SHO police station Khour after a man died in police custody, police said.
Sources said that Harbans Lal of Kalari village in Jammu district was arrested in connection with a murder was found dead in Khour police station in the morning.
The SHO of the station and two other policemen have been suspended they said and added that an enquiry to ascertain the exact cause of death has been ordered.
Sources said that all three suspended policemen have been attached to the district police lines in Jammu so that they don’t influence or interfere with the enquiry.
