Hours after students of Government Girls Higher Secondary School Kothi Bagh complain about concertina wires “as a source of inconvenience” near the Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) Srinagar, authorities Monday removed the wires, much to the delight of girl students.
The authorities said that the wires have been removed in view of complains.
Earlier students had complained: “We face cuts and bruises by concertina wires near BSNL exchange. We appeal the government to clear the road from this nuisance.”
The concertina wire, they said, was so dangerously laid that in past many school going girls were caught in it and sustained injuries.
