Srinagar: Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Monday chaired a high-level meeting to discuss the situation in Jammu and Kashmir, reports said.

They said the meeting was attended by Union Home Secretary Rajiv Mehrishi, Intelligence Bureau chief Rajiv Jain, RAW chief Anil Dhasmana and Central Reserve Police Force chief Rajiv Rai Bhatnagar.

Informed sources said the meeting discussed the fresh trouble in Jammu and Kashmir, where a spike in stone-pelting incidents by students has been witnessed following a police raid on a college in Pulwama district of southern part of Kashmir.
