Shaista Hamid who was killed in alleged forces action Sunday in Pulwama was pursuing her Master’s Degree from Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU).
Giving details, a local from the area told Kashmir Life over phone that Shaista, d/o of Abdul Hamid of New College, Lelhaar, Pulwama was a bright student enrolled in MANUU.
Shaista had two bothers and a sister. Her father and a brother are employees while one of her brothers is pursuing engineering. Her mother and on sister are homemakers.
Locals said the 22-year-old girl was killed after hit by a bullet.
Shaista, locals said, was awaiting her PG results.
