In reaction to the three killings in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district, All Parties Hurriyat Conference (g) chairperson, Syed Ali Geelani called for a statewide complete shutdown on Monday.

Two civilians and a militant were killed in Lelhaar and Ratnipora areas today. A young girl, Shaista Hamid and Danish Rashid were allegedly killed in forces action today in South Kashmir.

Speaking to Kashmir Life from New Delhi Geelani said, “South Kashmir is being turned as a new killing zone by forces.”

Calling for complete shutdown on Monday, the Hurriyat patriarch said, “who so ever raises his/her voice against the oppression of India in Kashmir is muzzled using military might by Indian state.” “These killings are not going to deter our resolve and we won’t surrender until and unless Indian state doesn’t show sincerity in solving Kashmir dispute.”
