Senior People’s Democratic Party leader and MLA Rajpora, Syed Bashir Andrabi Thursday revealed that State Government is mulling to shift the Tosamaidan firing range to Andarwali Sangarwani area of his Rajpora constituency. He has warned government of dire consequences and said people will start an agitation that will have negative repercussions.
As per a local news agency, CNS, Syed Bashir raised the issue in Legislative Assembly and sought clarification from the government.
“As per our reports, Army has been conducting a survey in and around the fields of Andarwali Sangarwani from past month. Shifting firing range from Tosamaidan to Sangarwani will have severe consequences and there will be law and order problem,” he said.
