Prime Minister Narendra Modi has deputed high level Central team headed by Union Minister Mukhtar Abas Naqvi to Jammu and Kashmir to access the flood situation.

“The team headed by the Union Minister Mukhtar Abas Naqvi , sent by the PMO office is on the way to Jammu and Kashmir to review the situation on ground. The team is scheduled to meet the Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed here,” official sources said.

They said that a detailed report of the current situation will be made before the central team by the officials of the state government.

“Sector wise assessment of any losses and the steps taken by the state government for any eventuality by flood will be discussed with the state officials,” sources said and added that the team will also visit various flood-affected districts in both Kashmir and Jammu regions before leaving to New Delhi.

  1. Your comment…what kasmiris have to do. with high or low level teams every one should understand central govt is not intrested in provding any assistance to flood affectees.they never take serious note of rehablitation process ;they put the package of 44000 cr praposed privious govt in dustbin
