Continuing its drives against the drug peddlers, police arrested three peddlers and recovered 08 kilograms of dried bung and over a kilogram of Charas powder on their instance, police said Sunday afternoon.
“On a tip off, police party of police station Hajan Bandipora raided in Village Vijpara. During the raid, three peddlers identified as Muzafar Ahmad Parray, Imran Ahmad Parray and Javid Ahmad Bhat all resident of Vijpara were arrested. Police recovered 08 kg dried Bung and 1200 grams charas Powder on their instance,” the police statement said.
Police has registered a case FIR number 56/15 under section 8/20 NDPS Act against them, it added.
