At least three paramilitary CRPF men were killed in a major militant attack in South Kashmir’s Pampore town on Saturday.

Sources said that around “26 CRPF men” were injured in the attack on Srinagar-Jammu highway at Pampore. “Over a dozen of them are critical,” sources claimed.

Top police sources revealed to Kashmir Life that around four militants attacked CRPF of which two fled the spot. “Two were killed on the spot in Frestbal area,” the officer said.

He said that the unidentified militants attacked the CRPF bus, which was on way to Srinagar, from two sides.

The sudden attack in Pampore town created panic with people running for safety. Shopkeepers pulled down their shutters.
