A man who had crossed over to Pakistan for arms training in 1990 returned via Nepal and surrendered before police in Awantipora area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district, an official said Monday.

The official told Srinagar-based news agency GNS that Shabir Ahmad Teeli son of Ali Muhammad Teli, resident of Gulzarpora in Awantipora returned via Nepal and handed over himself to police today.

“Police have registered a case under FIR number 60/2015 under section 2/3 EMCO AO and the man is being questioned,” the official added.
