Responding to concerns raised by PDP legislator Sheikh Noor Muhammad about water scarcity in Batamaloo area, Minister for PHE said that once the department gets money, the area shall be supplied water!
Noor Muhammad said that the area around state legislature and civil secretariat is without water even today. “You had assured us about supply of water in Jammu as well but people are still without water,” Noor Muhammad addressed Minister Sukhnandan.
To this, the minister concerned responded, “the Batamaloo area was supplied water from Rangil water scheme but since Sukhnag water scheme was started, the water distribution of the scheme is yet to be done.”
The minister added, “we have submitted the proposal to government for money which will be utilised for the distribution and when it comes the issue will get resolved.”
