Alleging that the former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir Omar Abdullah has lost his mental balance, the Bharitya Janta party Thursday said Omar is suffering from ‘Modi-phobia’ and a ‘psycho-analysis’ test should be performed on him.
“Feared with the stringency that has been imposed on corruption by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Omar Abdullah is suffering from Modi-phobia. I think psycho-analysis test should be performed on him,” BJP’s National secretary and close confident of Prime Minster Narendra Modi Tarun Chugh told reporters on the sidelines of a function here at SKICC.
He was expressing his ire over the frequent targeting of Modi by Omar.
According to KNS, he alleged that three generations of Abdulla’s in consensus with four generations of Congress have looted the people of Jammu and Kashmir. “The fight which Modi has started against corruption has brought the corrupt practices of Omar Abdullah to a severe halt. He looted the crores of public money and did nothing for the people of Jammu and Kashmir,” he said.
It is pertinent to mention here that Omar while depreciating Prime Minister Narendera Modi’s attacks abroad on previous governments had said on Sunday that he saw it as a part of “that whole thing of about ‘me, myself and I alone.”
Chugh added that Omar is issuing such statements due to ‘failures’ of NC government which the people are now well aware of.
He said that Omar is raising non-issues to divert the attention of the people. “Omar did nothing when he was the Chief Minister of the state and every citizen of Jammu and Kashmir knows it. High claims of development by Omar were white lies and mere eyewash. He did nothing for the people except looting the exchequer of the state during his tenure,” he said.
He claimed that BJP is committed to restore the pristine glory of Jammu and Kashmir and ensure that nobody takes the masses for a ride anymore,” he added.
