Chief Minister Mufti Muhammad Sayeed Monday briefed Governor NN Vohra on flood situation as he arrived in Kashmir for three day visit in view of the looming flood threat.
Reports said that Mufti Sayeed spoke to Vohra earlier in the day and informed him about the steps taken by his government in ensuring peoples’ safety.
“CM Mufti Muhammad Sayeed briefed the Governor about the steps underway to timely deal with the situation arising from the incessant rains during the past few days and the present level of Jhelum river,” reports said.
