Prime minister of India, Narendra Modi arrives in Kishtwar town to address a public rally in support of his party candidates in the fray for the first phase of the Assembly elections scheduled for November 25.

A multi-tier security cover has been put in place in Kishtwar town ahead of public rally. Security men have been deployed at all the entry and exit points of the venue Chogan to regulate the people thronging the rally, reports a Delhi based news agency.

After landing at Jammu airport, Modi took off in a helicopter for Kishtwar town, where around thousands of people have turned out to attend rally.
