On Monday, Awantipora police recovered the body of missing person who had gone in a nearby jungle to collect wild Mushroom on May 02.
The body of a missing person Ghulam Mohammad Bhat @ Mum Bhat son of Ali Mohammad Bhat resident of Koil Shikargah was recovered near Chari-Sangri of Shikargah forests.
According to his family members he went missing on May 02, when he left home to collect wild Mushroom in the jungle. Apparently he had slipped from a cliff into a nallah.
Police has started investigation under section 174 CrPC to ascertain the cause of his death. The body was handed over to his relatives for last rites.
