As the J&K Forest Minister, Ch Lal Singh, stood to answer a query from a lawmaker from treasury benches, opposition lawmakers raised intense slogans against the minister.

Lal Singh is under fire for his alleged comments against the Muslims of Jammu.

He had reportedly reminded a group of Muslims of 1947 mayhem. However, the minister later apologized “clarifying” that “he had talked about 47 temp not 1947”.

“Lal Singh Hai Hai, Hai Hai,” the opposition lawmakers raised slogans in the Well.

The Opposition had demanded action against the minister from  his “provocative remarks”.
