A resident of Laderwan village of district Kupwara who died due to cardiac arrest in the provincial capital of Pakistan in Lahore was laid to rest in Ambur area of Pakistan administered Kashmir (PaK) capital on Friday, reports said.

The 33-year-old Ashiq Hussain Tantray had arrived in Pakistan on December 6, 2016 from Wagha border. Ashiq spent 43 days with his relatives in Muzaffarabad and Lahore. He suffered a heart attack on January 19 in Lahore when he was on the way back home via Wagah border.

After seeking permissions from the mother of Ashiq, he was buried in Ambur graveyard. Hundreds of Kashmiris joined the funeral prayers of the deceased.
