After the attack on school kids in Peshawar, Pakistan, Kashmir University Scholars under the banner of ‘Institute of Islamic Culture and Civilization’ Thursday staged a protest in Lal Chowk and expressed their condolences to the families of the children who lost their lives in the dastardly attack.
Carrying banners and placards seeking stern stringent punishment for those involved in the inhuman attack, the students shouted slogans against the Tehreek-e-Taliban of Pakistan.
“The attack was inhuman and strict action should be taken against the culprits. Kashmir as a nation can feel the pain of the parents who lost their innocent kids in the terrorist attack, which has no moral and human justification,” a student said.
The students demanded that the acid attack accused should be arrested forthwith and given stringent punishment.
