On Thursday, the English department of University of Kashmir shall host a counselling session on different International Academic Programs. Many distinguished persons who have studied on various prestigious fellowships and scholarships shall educate the students about such courses. The program is being held in collaboration with Centre for Research and Development Policy (CRDP).

“Students and researchers from Social Sciences and Humanities streams seeking guidance and counselling can attend the program on Thursday, May 07 in the seminar hall of Humanities Block at Kashmir University at 1:00 pm in the day,” one of the organizers said. Earlier the program was scheduled to be held at Ganpatyar, Gawkadal.

The organizers have invited resource persons from various fields including academia, journalism, law, architecture and political science.

“Director CRDP Dr Peer G N Suhail, political analyst Wajahat Qazi, divisional town planner Mir Ghulam Hassan, research consultant Dr Mumtaz Ahmad Yatoo, journalists Faisul Yaseen and Zahid Rafiq, researchers Aliya Anjum and Wajahat Ahmad are the resource persons for this counselling session,” he said.

Director CRDP Dr Peer G N Suhail said that the scholars and students from social sciences and humanities backgrounds who want to seek guidance on acquiring international education could benefit by attending this program.

“The resource persons will inform the participants about international education, its importance, and the guidelines and procedures needed to follow admission process in such institutions,” Suhail said.
