One more civilian has succumbed to injuries after being hit by a bullet in the clashes that ensued after an encounter broke out between forces and militants in Chadoora village of Budgam district.
MS SMHS hospital Dr Nazir Choudhary told Kashmir Life that the slain youth was brought to SMHS Srinagar where he succumbed.
The youth has been identified as Ashfaq Ahmad, a resident of Rangret area of district Budgam.
Earlier two civilians succumbed after they were hit by bullets in the clashes. They were identified as Zahid Rashid from Chadoora and Sakib Ahmad from Wathoora Budgam.
The encounter has ended with the killing of one militant and injuries to army man.
