National Conference senior leader Dr Sheikh Mustafa Kamal Monday said that the current PDP-BJP coalition Government in Jammu and Kashmir is fraught with dangerous consequences for the  fabric of secularism and for the people of the state.

Kamal said that it is high time National Conference workers introspect and look at the reasons and causes of the defeat that party suffered in last year Assembly Elections.

“National Conference has become victim of conspiracies and machination of powers in New Delhi. Militancy was started by Mufti Muhammad Syeed as Union Home Minister through his handpicked Governor Jagmohan in 1990 and that the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits was the brain child of Mufti Sayeed  as endorsed by the veteran congress leader Mani Shankar Ayer and others,” Kamal said.

Dr. Kamaal said that Kashmiri Pandits know it well that it was Mufti Sayeed who vandalized Hindu temples in Kashmir Valley. “The unfinished agenda of NC’s ‘Naya Kashmir’ and amicable resolution of J&K Problems will be pursued  vigorously with the concerned and will the party will leave no stone unturned to expose the ‘inept’ ‘inefficient’ and ‘corrupt government’ of Mufti Muhammad Sayeed.”
