J&K Bank opened 6 more ATMs in Kashmir (North), 3 each in district Kupwara and district Baramulla, a statement said on Tuesday.

The bank’s Zonal Head Kashmir (North) and Vice-President M S Kaboo inaugurated the ATMs at Zachaldara, Harai, Army Camp Chowkibal in Kupwara; Hard-e-Aboora, Tapper and Choora in Baramulla thereby increasing the total number of ATMs of the bank to 838 and the ATM network in Kashmir  (North) to 100. These ATMs were inaugurated amid a good gathering of valuable customers, senior citizens and local traders.

While inaugurating the ATMs, the Zonal Head informed the participants about the advantages of such hi-tech facility for the common people especially during certain urgent situations, the statement said.

He briefed the participants about   various facilities provided by the ATM like cash withdrawals, balance inquiry, request for statement of accounts, change of Personal Identification Number (PIN) and other services round the clock.

He further assured that the Bank is committed to extend its operations to remotest areas of the state and provide the people world class banking facilities right at their door-step.
